The other day, I came across a video of a bride talking about the truth of her bridal era. As I watched, I found myself nodding along to every word. And honestly? My first thought was, "I wish I could reach through the screen, give her a hug, and tell her she's doing okay."

Because the truth is, being a bride is both beautiful and incredibly hard.

​

It's exciting and overwhelming.
Joyful and exhausting.
A season filled with so much love, but also so many decisions, expectations, emotions, and responsibilities.

I know there are moments when you feel excited to marry the love of your life, and other moments when the weight of planning everything feels heavier than you expected.

I know there may be support you're wishing for that isn't showing up the way you hoped.
I know the financial stress can feel overwhelming.
I know there are days when you're questioning decisions you've already made.

And I know there are moments when you wonder if anyone truly understands what you're carrying.

So if you happen to be reading this, I want you to know something:

And you are not alone.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside so many incredible brides. I've witnessed the nervousness, the excitement, the tears, the uncertainty, the joy, and all of the emotions that come with this season of life.
